“I ordered these because I’ve had plain black hair for years and wanted to spice it up without spending tons of time and money at the salon to get ombré on my own. When I first got the extensions I noticed they were more of a darker brown than black at the top and even tho the blonde was really pretty, when I put them in they did not blend in my hair well due to the fact that it fades from a dark brown to a light brown to a blonde. I went to a hairdresser to get them blended and she said the colour didn’t really match my hair (my hair is coal black) so she would suggest dying the brown black to make it blend easier. I did that and they didn’t come out great. Spend over $450 (I’m Canadian so the exchange rate was brutal) for extensions that do not look good. Not saying all of it is Bellami’s fault, but the picture and colour were pretty deceiving. The extensions really aren’t as dark as they appear on the site. Super disappointed and in order for them to look good I’m gonna have to dye them all just plain black.
Safe to say I will probably not be ordering from here again.”
“I was so excited to get my hair extensions and when I opened them up and put them all in my hair I was so disappointed because they looked choppy and stringy, I’m a cosmetologist and was able to blend them into my cut but the pieces are so super thin it’s very difficult to blend it and the blonde is so very dry and damaged already I’m afraid to wash them. I haven’t worn them except to cut and blend them and I’m not sure I ever will if I do I will definitely be buying another set but from someone with better quality hair to blend these guys in. I feel like I wasted $200 which is a lot for me.”
“I should have looked at more reviews outside of the Bellami website, the reviews on here are glowing but on other sites they feel a bit more authentic and there seems to be the same issues happening with a lot of people.
These extensions tangle like crazy, you’ll spend every other minute you’re wearing them brushing them out with your fingers and losing a ton of the hair and you don’t get much hair to begin with. I ordered the 160g because I have pretty full hair and they’re way too thin it’s a joke. They look so thin and wispy at the ends, the ends that are colored blonde are very very dry and damaged looking. I’m so sad I spent $200 on these useless extensions, I wore them once and they’ve sat in my closet untouched since. I tried listing them on websites to sell them and recoup something but nobody wants them, apparently everyone else is smart and does their research before buying not after when you’re stuck. Lesson learned unfortunately it was a very expensive one at the worst possible time but I know I won’t forget it so there’s the silver lining.”
“Love the hair, love the length, love the way it feels and love the look! Unfortunately, the color was not what I was expecting. The color doesn’t match the picture provided on the website.. but I would order again from here in a snap! Shipping went by so fast and got here just in time for a wedding! Next time I’ll order a solid color not ombré.”
