“I waited maybe 2 years to finally purchase clip-ins form Bellami! So I wanted to love these extensions really badly! I tend to wear a lot of 100% Human Hair Remy Clip-In extensions for work (almost daily) so I am pretty familiar with good quality extensions and poor. But enough about Me, let's get right to it. I'll start with the good.....
PROS:
1. The extensions are well packaged in a fancy box. Inside you'll find a hanging clip for your extensions and hair bag (similar to a pant hanger with a cushion and a mini garment bag.... but for your clip-ins!)
2. The extensions are long and thick, from root to tip, as promised.
3. The clips are strong and very well sewn. The best I've experienced thus far. They immediately feel secure.
CONS:
1. The hair is NOT 100% REMY HUMAN HAIR. They use SYNTHETIC FILLERS in what they claim to be 100% Remy Quality. How do I know this ? Because the moment I tried to apply heat to the hair (between 325-400 degrees) each time hair melted right off!! Only synthetic hair will MELT, real hair will BURN and has a very distinctive smell. This was NOT burning hair and 325 degrees is NOT high for REMY HUMAN HAIR.
2. There are random strands of discolored hair, (blue, red, grey, white) and I am not even sure if some of them ARE hair. Again, they feel quite synthetic and NO it is NOT thread from the weft.
Overall I love the length and fullness of the extensions. I wish I would have used HEAT on My TESTER PIECE before opening the full pack of extensions. Now I cannot return them, but I would most definitely advise ALL CUSTOMERS to APPLY your HEATING UTENSILS to the TESTER FIRST! ... (although I wouldn't be surprised if they intentionally made the testers 100% REMY and the extensions with fillers) I'm just saying.....watch out. If you have the same problem after ordering PLEASE leave feedback about this too! I would love to know if anyone else has experienced this problem with their clip-ins.”
“It gets soo knotty and shears a lot. I’ve tried a lot of hair and this hair is not my favorite. It’s upsetting to me because I spent so much money and I spend less money when I make my own extensions.”
“This is my second Bellini product and it’s quality is quite disappointing. While the hair is thick and a great length, it does not respond well to heat styling. When using my usual straighter (on a medium setting) the hair began to leave a black residue on my straighter. The hair feels tacky and has an funny smell. I washed and conditioned it and I still am experiencing the same problem. Very disappointed in my expensive purchase.”
“It says in the description that there’s plenty of hair in each box. I don’t agree. I had to purchase 2 packs. I’m also not happy with the quality. I returned all the items.”
