A beautiful and meaningful gift for Shavuot (Chag Matan Torah), and for the Jewish high holidays (Rosh HaShana and Simchat Torah). The Torah's covers come assorted in two colors. Either very dark navy color (almost black) or in burgundy color. If you have a preference, please write that in the order notes - otherwise the color will be picked randomly.
This torah is printed with vowels and tropes. The vowels and cantillations are part of the Oral Torah, and were thus to be memorized and transmitted from generation to generation. Only when we (relatively recently) began writing down the Oral Torah, did we also invent ways to write vowels and cantillations. However, not to add anything to the Holy Torah, we do not write them into real Torah Scrolls, only into printed books (or printed paper scrolls, like this one), like a Tikkun (a special version of the Torah Scroll designed to aid memorization, and teaching).
