“The BE10500IT is a beast!!! It's rather heavy at 250lbs, but it's built like a tank. With tri-fuel options and clean inverter power, it leverages the latest generator technology and is surprisingly quiet. Comes with a regulator/quick connect hose for connection to OPD propane tanks, and a 25ft natural gas quick connect hose and fitting for your NG supply.
Being a very new product, parts lists, spares, service bulletins and an updated manual aren't expected until mid-February. My unit came with a LiPo battery, but the trickle charger that plugs into the front panel was not included. An engine oil quick-drain hose would have been nice, but it's not really an issue.
The BE10500IT has a floating neutral despite some documentation to the contrary. There is no mention of a break-in period, and the technical folks at BE Power confirmed it is not necessary. Their technical support staff have been prompt and courteous.
Only time will tell how reliable the unit proves to be, but with a good service network in place and a decent warranty, I'm quite impressed!”
