“It sure beats 100’ feet of 1” black iron. Two previous generator install jobs I used 1” black iron with all the fittings, pipe dope, and sore muscles and joints from having to torque on all the couplings and elbows! With 100’ of 1” tracpipe from Big Frog Supply, my eight hour job with black iron turned into an hour job with tracpipe! Tracpipe is definitely the way to go for propane and natural gas runs. It doesn’t have to be bonded like other CSST brands do because it’s black coating is lightning resistant. I have used yellow-jacketed CSST in the past and had to bond it to the grounding system as per code. Not required with Tracpipe. Money and time saver!!”
