“The idea behind this concept is simply top rate. You do not need to pump out the septic, saving you quite a it of money, when the pump needs servicing.
One important improvement could be made though. The rail comes with a completely separate piece of cast iron with it. There is a picture of it in the instructions, but no diagram or instructions for installing it. The piece is generally also not mentioned anywhere when finding this system on a website! In fact my retailer had to check with the parent company to see if this was a standard, included part!
The piece turned out to be a guide pipe anchor that is simply inserted into the top of the guide pipe. The other end of the piece is anchored to the wall of the tank. There is only a picture of the piece in the instructions which does not really make clear its purpose.
So if you are reading this - now you know. This rail system is the reason I went with the Liberty pump. I cannot see how anyone would ever want a different system since this one is hassle free when it comes time to service the pump. How can you eat simply lifting out the pump, servicing it, and then sliding it back down into place with no need for anything else?”
