This was a direct swap out of my old failed Hunter sensor. It was very easy to set up and install. You can do it in minutes!!

This rain-freeze combo paired well with my ESP-ME3. I'm on the road quite a bit and nothing would upset me more than inefficiently using my irrigation system, using and paying for water I didn't need to. My old system was in dire need of an upgrade and now I have a system that will smartly and efficiently irrigate my landscape.

Installed the wireless rain sensor and couldn’t be happier. The installation was very easy. The bracket supplied for the sensor made it easy to hang from my gutter. No more trips to my timer box to shut it off now the rain sensor does the job. Also great price from Big Frog Supply.

I wanted to be more efficient in watering and this product delivered. The only issue I had was attached it to a Rainbird controller that only had connections for the sensor wires and no connectors for power so had to splice in power connections. More of an issue with controller that rain sensor. Otherwise product worked as promised.

It is easy to install, easy to test the install. It works great and it took around 30 minutes to install. It was recommended by one of the person who came to open the irrigation system. Its easy to configure and install. Love it.

Very very easy to install, severally simply wires that needs to be wired into the port. Mounted to my rain bird unit. The rain detector sits on my gutter very firmly, no screws. Followed a instruction video on YouTube just to be sure and it was done within 10min

I was skeptical that this device with its simple swellable membrane (in this case, cork) could accurately measure rainfall, but after using it for two weeks (and three rain events), it seems to be doing its job and prevented the irrigation system from running when the ground was wet. However, the rain indicator that is calibrated in 1/8" increments does not appear to be even remotely accurate, as it either indicates no rain, or 1/2". I'm not too concerned about this as it does do what I wanted it to: turn off the irrigation when it rains. So far, so good. Also, the layout of the LCD display is rather funky but you get used to it.
