“Vitamin D3 is fat soluble in the body and these soft gels in pure cold-pressed olive oil makes it easier to absorb. The higher optimum dose is needed as we don't get get enough D3 from sunlight in the northern hemisphere away from the equator. I highly recommend this product, and BigVits great customer service.”
