“Used this popper during the Susquehanna River white fly hatch. It worked alright, 17 inch smallie took it. Only problem is the rubber legs and feathers were gone after that one fish.”
“It's not easy to find a good popper this small at a decent price. If you buy a dozen, these popper flies are a fair value (IMO). The hooks are sharp and the paint can take a decent beating. I'm giving four stars only because each time I order, there's always one that is a bit subpar, whether it's construction or action.So far, I've caught bluegill, largemouth bass, and even rainbow trout with these poppers. I've used all four colors and have had great success with each. These are definitely a top favorite for my 4wt! I fish a small river where I'm able to wade into with muddy visibility.”
