“I had great success with this pattern in NC this fall tying it as a dropper behind a larger dry fly. I had 1-2 hits on the dry over the course of a couple of days, but caught most of my fish on this nymph. It turned up in nearly all of my research for good fall/winter patterns in NC, and did not disappoint. The fly seemed well tied to me, and each lasted through multiple fish and mountain laurel branches.”
