“This is one slick product. I have been looking for a good waist belt solution for carrying my fly fishing net and this works exactly how I wanted it to. Installation was 5 minutes once I got the adhesive off of the back of the holder and magnetic clip. The product packaging is not the fault of BIG Y FLY but the manufacturer. I sent the manufacturer a direct message letting them know that the way they adhere the product to the product packaging card is awful. I noticed another customer here had the same issue. I got most of the packaging adhesive off with 91% rubbing alcohol and a razor blade. Hopefully they will move to a better packaging solution because the product itself is great.”
“I’ll be honest…I haven’t attached it or used it. I just got finished removing the industrial strength contact cement off the back of the holder. Scraping it with a fingernail - nope; hot water - nope; alcohol - nope; fingernail polish remover - yes, but it removed a lot of the black (Paint? Plastic?) and ruined the surface (it’s matte gray now). I just took the part you screw onto the net off the cardboard, and I think it has as much glue on it as the holster. I don’t have anything else to try, and I don’t want to ruin the finish again. This is ridiculous! Why? Why? Why? Is this some kind of sick joke? I regret this purchase already.”
