“Excellent toolset for the installation, removal and otherwise servicing of bottom brackets. No one set will ever cover all BB scenarios, and this one is no different. However, although it is geared toward the installation of Wheels Manufacturing BBs it contains enough tools to cover most other BB standards. I needed it to install a threaded 386EVO BB for a Shimano 24mm crank. The toolset is finished in professional quality hence looks and feels like it would withstand years of daily heavy use in a bike shop. It looks the part anodised in red. I was able to fit the threaded BB to the prescribed torque without the 16-notch bit slipping, after checking the WMG video to see how that is done. Without this installation kit, using standard spanners, achieving that would have been very difficult. Most likely the spanner or cup would have slipped once or twice, leaving marks on the outside of the BB. Thanks to the WM installation kit my BB looks pristine. The installation kit can be expanded with optional parts from WM, which should cover practically all BB installation scenarios. The installation kit is certainly going to outlast me and I am very happy with my purchase.”
