I really like the Biostrap, but I have too many problems with the strap connecting to my phone to download the info. Some days it is awesome and I get great downloads. Other days I get zero downloads. Great potential, but too many issues.

Biostrap is NOT ready for primetime. I spent $250 on this piece of junk and it never captures ANYTHING. I just did a 30 minute workout with the shoepod and it did not capture a single step, not one, in fact, I opened the app to synch and the shoepod was disconnected. This is a frequent occurrence with the band and shoepod, the only way to reconnect is to reset, but then you lose anything it MIGHT have captured. If I were using Biostrap to track my heartbeat, I would be a cadaver on an ME's slab since according to Biostrap, I have not had a single heartbeat for the past month. FitBit may have its little foibles and such, but at least it captures the data it is supposed to. I had high hopes for Biostrap, it has prpven to be a $250 letdown...back to FitBit, into the trash for Biostrap.

The set worked well for multiple purposes. I use for sleep tracking and fitness tracking. I might add a polar hrm eventually for active tracking. Have not had a change to us GPS tracking, but will test that when the weather is warmer. Overall, it works good. There is room for improvement and I'm sure improvements are coming along

Like the title says, I absolutely love the wrist strap. The shoe pod not very much. The pod is so inconsistent and works part time at best. Maybe it's me and I am not using it correctly, but should it be that complicated to use? The wrist strap does an awesome job tracking things like my sleep, so I can overlook the pod and hope it works one day.

The syncing of information is extremely slow.

I'm mostly happy with my purchase. I have had problems training a few exercises like lunges, and any reps that use only one arm that doesn't have the strap like biceps curls. Sleep tracking has worked about half the time. And there doesn't seem to be a way to track progress on any single exercise. Adding this functionality in the future would be awesome.

I have been using this device since I bought it right around the new year. The features I like most are that you can post other workouts besides just walking, you can customize your workouts, and it does auto detctect sleep.

....Buy it. Doesn't stay connected to the app. Battery life is too short. To sync to app would take a hour or more. Expensive. Good idea, bad execution. Don't buy it.
