“As long as you have removed all branches or shrubs to at least 6 feet away from the edge of the dome to the base of the feeder, this works pretty darn well!”

“The photo shows a yellowish tinted dome but I have bought two and they are both clear, which I prefer.
This dome has totally defeated the squirrels and wood rats that ruined my bird feeding previously three years ago.
It's well made. We can all see that it's plastic but this is very study plastic, where the screw threads are for the two threaded hooks, you can tell that plastic is reinforced and you're not going to break it if you tighten firmly.
These two domes hanging from my shaded trees with a birdbath between them are right outside our kitchen bay window, and we are wonderfully entertained.
This dome is a solid product that will probably last longer than me, truth be told.”
“I've had a similar baffle for years and it's the only true way to keep squirrels at bay.
The key is to have a feeder small enough to keep squirrels from grabbing the edge of the feeder as they go by after falling off the dome.”
