“We live in the country, and have to be careful with the bird food we put out, as we usually get other non-bird visitors to our yard, including raccoons, squirrels, chipmunks and deer. They have climbed up and pulled down many of our hanging bird feeders in the past, just to get to the bird seed - especially during the cold winter months.
After talking with a bird expert at local store, they recommended we pick up and use spicy signature wild bird food that doesn't harm birds, but keeps other unwanted guests away. So, we picked up a bag of Spicy Signature Wild Bird Food to try and was amazed at how the birds flocked to the bird feeder and enjoyed the tasty seeds -- but, we didn't have to deal with unwanted guests trying to climb and access the feeders.
I will definitely be buying more of the Signature Wild Bird Food to fill up all our bird feeders in our yard, here in the country. And, will definitely be recommending this brand to friends and neighbors who love to feed the birds like I do.”
“Loved by the birds and not so much by our rodent friends, great seed and would by again easily. I like the thought of keeping my avian friends happy with this food, even my chickens like it!”
“This is a decent sized packet of bird seed. It has a really diverse range of seeds. Because of the diversity, it has managed to attract so many different kinds of birds to my backyard. I am so happy with the results!”
“I'm not sure if this spicy bird food is a new innovation but I love how it's spicy to keep other critters out. It seems like the squirrels come first but then they bring their rat friends they aren't welcome! This food seems to have high quality, healthy ingredients. The listing says the bag is 10 pounds of food and the bag says the same thing, but I don't believe that I received more than a pound or 2, unfortunately.”
“This spicy blend keeps the squirrels away, without hurting the birds. It is a fact that birds can’t taste spice. Has really good ingredients: black oil sunflower, cracked corn, white millet, red milo, specially blended oils, and crushed red pepper oil. Seems like the birds love it. I see many of them around the feeder.”
“I recently received this Birds Choice - Spicy Wild Bird Food. It has Crushed Pepper Oil in it to deter squirrels and deer from eating the seed. I am impressed with how well it works! I have a lot of different varieties of birds coming to eat from the feeder now.!”
