“Brought a bunch of little friends to our front window. On the down side, the spicy didnt seem to deter the squirrels at all. They would hop in our feeder and swing around until it popped apart. Looked like kids eating flaming hot chips.”
“This bird seed has attracted the most variety of birds that we have ever gotten. We were hoping to attract cardinals more and this seed did not disappoint!!!! We have also gotten more doves than before as well.
The downside is that squirrels seem to also like it ! I thought that the “spice” would deter them, but so far it hasn’t. We thankfully do not get deer or bear in our yard, so I can’t attest to how they respond to the “spicy seed mix”
I would recommend this product for the birds but not if you’re looking to deter any other animals.”
