“This stuff is wonderful to spread into a log feeder with pre drilled holes. All sort of woodpeckers, nut hatches and European Starlings love this food. I love seeing them peck away at it. I would use this only in the winter months when the bugs, etc. aren't available for these birds to eat from the trees. Easy to use and store.”

“This spreadable suet is a staple for my bird feeding routine. I spread it on the trunk of a spruce tree and into the woodpecker holes (can be spread on any surface, really; holes not required). It is soft with peanut pieces mixed in and absolutely NO filler seeds like so many suet cakes. It is a favorite of my friendly chickadees, nuthatches, flickers, woodpeckers, kinglets, red-winged blackbirds, jays, the sparrows also eat it - oh and squirrels too. I really love that this is no waste and no fillers. Though I used to buy at a different online store, Backyard has the best price!!”
