“I bought the extension pole, along with the tube feeder. I am disappointed with the extension pole for two reasons: 1) the extension is black and does not match the other metal pole pieces. It must also be put on as the top piece because of fit, so the difference in color is at eye level. I expect more from a $100+ bird feeder. 2) More important, because the extension piece is slightly thicker than the other 3 poles that come with the feeder, I can't get the feeder off the extension pole. The extension comes off when I remove the feeder to re-fill it with seed. I end up tipping the tube with extension pole upside down, then pull up on the pole to separate it from the feeder, set the feeder on the lawn upright so i can then re-fill it with seed; cumbersome and wastes a lot of seed. I'm thinking of sanding off the black paint of the extension where it fits into the tube feeder so I can re-fill the feeder as I do easily when NOT using the extension pole. But I should not have to do this with. a brand new $100+ bird feeder!”
