“This is one of the simplest bird feeders you can own. We have issues with squirrels that love to eat all the bird seed, so hanging this up in our garden doesn't deter the squirrels, but it makes it much more difficult for them since it will not hold their weight. The plastic mesh will hold most of the seeds except for the small grass seeds, which will fall if the feeder shifts too much.
Because it is made out of wood, you may want to keep an eye on it with the weather.”
“I've never had a bird feeder in this type of design. It's more like a tray that the bird seed fits in and the birds have free range to eat. I was concerned that the bird seed would fall through the holes but it does not if you choose the correct type of bird seed to use with a bird feeder.
The design of the bird feeder was very creative. I in particularly enjoyed the fact that the hanging arms could expand and collapse. This will be great for when I need to put it away for storage during the off season.”
