My wife and I have a bird (and squirrel) feeding oasis on our rear deck and backyard. Keeping our feathered friends happy with quality food is our goal. And Birds Choice Hummingbird and Oriole Nectar is the quality hummingbird nectar we are using. This nectar contains “nectar defender” a micronutrient that helps keep the nectar fresh! Give this nectar a try for your backyard birds!

The ruby throated hummingbirds that I get here in my backyard love this mix! I love that it is easy to make and does not require me to boil water. I also love that it doesn't have any dyes or additives which keeps the birds healthy.

I like that, as opposed to liquid premixed nectar, this powder will last longer since it doesn't have an expiration date that I can see. If you only have a short period of time in the spring when you see hummingbirds, like we seem to do, you can just mix the powder as you need it and store the rest for next season. Definitely handy and convenient!

This nectar must be absolutely delicious to them! I had a lot of hummingbirds CIRCLING my porch the other day trying to get some. It reminded me of the film "The Birds" but they're absolutely beautiful! I wish I got a picture. I'll try to get one next time!
