“I received this in conjunction with the Flutterby feeder. It has very good packaging with the ziploc closure to allow easy after making smaller batch's of nectar. I have had a few butterflies find the feeder so it works. I'm going to start focusing on planting flowering annuals that attract butterflies.”
“Got this to use in my butterfly feeder. It is a mixture of sugar, salts and amino acids that are said to be a good butterfly attractor. Really like that it comes in a resealable pouch so easy to store. To use it you just dissolve the suggested amount in boiling water, let it cool, then add to the butterfly feeder. Then watch and wait. This package makes up to 6 cups of food.”
“The Birds Choice Butterfly Nectar 7.5 oz. Resealable Pouch is such a simple way to feed the butterflies around your home or habitat. We added this to our pollinator garden and love how quick and simple this is to make. The instructions are clear to make the amount needed with measurement guides so you do not have to make the entire pouch of food all at once. The pouch is resealable and does not have much of scent. You get a nice amount in each pouch and is very affordable.”
“For the butterfly feeder I bought, I chose the Birds Choice Butterfly Nectar which comes in a resealable pouch. It's labeled with clear instructions on how to make a batch of the nectar. It was quite easy to do. I have seen an increase of butterflies since I've gotten the butterfly nectar and the feeder!”
“Butterfly nectar has to be dissolved in water. You can use as much as you’d like at one time. I use a little at a time, you have instructions on the back of the package on how to use it. Very easy to use, definitely recommend!!”
“Very easy to make. Similar to making hummingbird water. I haven’t noticed any butterflies yet though and it’s been up a couple days. Def worth a try and with the feeder made for it. Very simple and cute.”
