“This feeder is high quality and easy to assemble with the use of the written and visual instructions on the package. I like that the vibrant red color of the base and dome attracts hummingbirds. We have cone flowers in our yard which also lure these birds and it’s nice to see them feed. It did take some time for the birds to locate this feeder though. I value the fact that this feeder has this protective dome to shelter the birds from the elements. Additionally, the base bottom is translucent, so it is easy to detect how much nectar is left. The lid of this base snaps on easily after filling. I recommend that it be filled outside to avoid spillage on your home’s floors. The top has four feeding ports with rain deflectors and a perch for the birds to rest while feeding. The base holds about 1cup of feeding nectar. The feeder is dishwasher safe and also comes with a cleaning brush for manual cleaning. This feeder has many advantages that traditional hummingbird feeders do not! Lastly, it can also be used as a regular seed feeder by simply removing the lid.”
