“We moved from Nevada (ground squirrels) to NJ (lots of real squirrels) in the 1980's. After manky baffles, etc, we found this feeder. We loved it, bought a replacement in 2916 (Texas) and now have a third one. The Texas weather is a little rough but we wouldnt trade this feeder. Also bought one for my son!”
“Great product. This is a replacement to one we've had for over 12 years! The one that I just purchased is the exact same feeder. I'm proud to say that the old one has weathered through many a long New England winter. I would highly recommend this item and seller, and the price is reasonable for such a great product. Also, shipping was quick.”
“We’ve been fighting the squirrels (to no avail) and a family member who has had this feeder for decades recommended it. The first one arrived damaged, but we were so impressed with the response from the company and received a new one within days! They have the kind of old-fashioned customer service you just don’t see much of anymore. (A real person actually answers the phone!) So far we are squirrel-free and seriously doubt those persistent little thieves are going to be able to continue their depredations with the new feeder. Highly recommend!”
“I have two of these feeders and they are absolutely squirrel proof and the birds love them. They hold a lot of seed, are easy to fill and they are very durable. I highly recommend this feeder!”
“This is the 3rd of these we have bought. First was in NJ in 1980's. Second was rpobably 10 years later. The third was bought because the birds were having a problem getting seed from the rusting bottom. We are in damp humid Texas now. This feeder is the best and I hope the bottom will hold up for our lifetime. I'd recommend to anyone. The squirrels hate it!!!”
“I have been using this model for years now. I have two of them adjacent with a cedar catch box
beneath. Keep them clean inside so moisture does not affect the metal tray base. Just replaced one
of them. The neighborhood favorite. There are dozens of birds who frequent these all year long.”
