Squirrel Proof Classic Bird Feeder with Pole and Squirrel Baffle Reviews

4.8 Rating 249 Reviews
I work for a veterinary clinic and we have bird feeders all over. We joke that we only have them for the squirrels to come destroy and eat all of the bird seed. This feeder was super easy to put together and install and so far so good! The squirrels spend their days trying to climb up and get into the feeder only to be deterred by the baffle. I can't promise that they will never figure it out, but for now this is a clinic favorite!

Bought this last month, I wasn’t expecting it to be so big. We love it! Love watching the bird come and sit on it to eat. It has great features that prevent the squirrels from getting all the feed. It’s been a great addition to by back patio.

We just built a raised garden and I was looking for something to dress it up a bit and came across this. It looks great and so easy to use/take care of! Good material so it can withstand just about any temperature. The birds love it too!

This is a great bird feeder. The set up was extremely easy and it does not take up too much real-estate. It is truly squirrel proof and it is fun watching squirrels try to climb it. I highly recommend this if you have a bird feeder that keeps getting drained by squirrels.

I have to state right off that I have not put this into the ground as of yet as the ground is frozen and the weather is not cooperating- but i am excited just the same as we really enjoy just watching the birds. This bird feeder is so easy to assemble, if you can actually call it assembling! It has three poles that fit into each other to make a long pole where your feeder sits on top. Now the bottom pole is to be placed in the ground about six inches to hold it straight up but as stated above, that is not going to happen with this weather. the seed reservoir (big clear tube) is about six inches in diameter and can hold a lot of seed and being clear you can easily see the seed level For days!! There are four perches for our feathered friends to enjoy their meals. Inside the seed reservoir is another plastic dish like item but that is the metering ring, which will control the flow of seed so it doesn’t overflow and you just end up wasting seed, which the other critters will get to! The big green tube on the bottom is the squirrel deterrent. It is a hollow tube so if the squirrel is smart enough to climb up the tube he will not he able to figure out a way to get to the seed because he is basically just going to be inside the tube! Genius part! The green cap on top keeps the seed in the reservoir dry. You must remember though to be sure to put this in a spot that is at least six feet from any jumping source for the squirrels- fences, tables, tree branches etc. I can hardly wait for our weather to warm up so i can properly install this in my yard and being to enjoy watching the birds.

So excited to get my Birds Choice bird feeder. Easy instructions to assemble, and I didn't need my husband's help. It is very sturdy and holds quite a bit of bird seed. Cant wait to see what kind of birds it will attract as I don't live in an area where we have squirrels.

This is a very well made and the fact that it doesn't allow squirrels to feed is fantastic. Most of the time the squirrels eat all of the food and run off the birds. This one works perfectly and is large enough that your not having to constantly refill.

I can’t explain how excited I was to receive this bird feeder!! Right out the box is was very easy to install, I didn’t even need the instructions. The style is very appealing to the eye and I liked the fact that it has a squirrel guard so they cannot eat all the bird food. I filled it up with about half a bag of food and it went in the ground nicely. Now I just sit and wait for the birds to come!
