Hanging Classic Bird Feeder with Baffle Weather Guard 12 Inch Reviews

This is the third one of these I’ve bought. It’s a very well-made feeder, and the baffle can be lowered to keep larger birds away. I use sunflower hearts in all 3, and the goldfinches love it.

It holds a lot, the baffle keeps big birds away and keeps the food dry. Excellent!

Didn't come with the weather guard. I doubt it would have worked anyway. This thing couldn't be made any flimsier. Wow. I'm returning it. Beware they will try to make you pay for return shipping. What a joke.

Bought to replace the exact same feeder that a bear broke last spring. Good feeder. Would be better if it had a full dome over the top.

The feeder is larger than expected, and the quality is very good. The birds do not seem to appreciate this as they are not using it much, and seem to prefer my cheaper feeders instead even though they all have the same seed in them.

It sounds like you've got a high-quality feeder that just isn't winning over the birds! Sometimes, it takes a bit for them to adjust to a new feeding setup. They might prefer the familiarity of the cheaper feeders or find them easier to access. You might try positioning the new feeder in a more visible spot or even placing it closer to where they usually feed. Adding some cover nearby can also help them feel safer while they explore. Give it some time; once they realize it's a good option, they might come around!
