Hanging Classic Bird Feeder with Baffle Weather Guard 12 Inch Reviews

4.8 Rating 336 Reviews
This is my third feeder one lasted over4years the other is still in use. The one that I replaced was destroyed by a deer. I did have to replace parts to one of them due to squirrel damage to metal but it was easily done and much cheaper than buying a complete new one. They are sturdy and easy to take apart and clean.

Two fo the 4 perches are not tight against the storage container. This is why we replaced our old one. All 4 came loose and birds couldn't get close enough to feed from the holes.

What I like about it especially is the circular "awning" above perches--it helps keeps rain from getting inside, ruining the birdseed. The feeder also has a large capacity so you don't have to refill it often.

This works great for little birds. Bigger birds can't take over the feeder. I fill this feeder once a week or less. Have to fill other feeders daily.

The bird feeder is a good deterent for those rascals but the have a way of performing acrobatic tricks. The birds love the feeder. Only had it couple of weeks. Well see it it holds up to the elements.

I love this feeder. The baffle keeps the weather out and the seed dry. The birds love it! It holds a good amount of seed. I highly recommend it.

Linda, We are sorry to hear the birds are not using this new feeder. There could be multiple reasons why the birds have not come to feed yet. If you normally do not feed the birds in this location, it could take anywhere from one day to several months before birds in your area discover your new feeder. If you already have other bird feeders nearby that the birds are used to, they could be a bit leary of the new feeder. Birds are usually afraid of anything new. Sometimes you need to be patient and give your birds some time to find your feeder and feel comfortable with it. No matter how many or what kind of feeder you offer, there is never any guarantee that birds will like it or feed from it. Sometimes changing the type of bird seed you are feeding, or putting some seed on the ground near your feeder will help too. We hope that you will be patient and give your birds some time to find and enjoy this new bird feeder. Thank you, The Birds Choice Team

This was purchased because it keeps my seed dry, holds a lot and the squirrels don’t bother it. My first one was such a success that I wanted to add a second.
