“Extremely well designed feeder. It is sleek, solid and will hold up really well through rough weather and such. We keep a separate feeder for birds and another separate one for squirrels. But sometimes they like to switch. With this feeder however, things will stay tidy, organized and just as we like them.
The perches are perfect for smaller birds and the visor protects from snow, rain and wind. The canister has high capacity so we will not have to refill it too often (always a plus). Because the visor is transparent nothing obstructs the view of the birds and we all love watching them (especially our cats), we call it "bird channel".
We used many, many different feeder systems over the years so we have a good frame of reference on the subject. This feeder is one of the best ones out there. Well designed and well made. Great product!”

And if you position the rain guard correctly, pigeons and other typically non-desirable backyard birds can fit at the feeder and wait for the husks on the ground.”

“I got this Birds Choice Hanging Classic bird feeder awhile back and I have to admit I am happy & the birds are happy with it. It was little hard to get together & I needed an extra set of hands to get it together but other than that it’s great. Squirrel hasn’t touched it. And the birds seem to like it. “I have always loved watching the birds and enjoyed putting feeders out for them. This Birds Choice 12” Classic Hanging Feeder is great to have. I have had to empty bird feeders and throw a lot of the seed away due to the rain and snow getting the seed wet. The rain guard on this feeder protects the seeds from getting wet and keeps the seed from being wasted. It has four durable aluminum seed ports and perches. The metering ring inside the feeder distributes the feed to the ports. To fill, remove the top lid and pour the seed in. The feeder is very nice quality and made exceptionally well and I would recommend.”
