“I would appreciate it if you would mark the appropriate measurement of the baffle whether it be the 3" or 4" depending on if you want to feed the smaller songbirds rather than flocks of the blackbird family. I would provide an easy way to also make sure the baffle is not slipping out of position. Also, I have to use gloves to get the cap off for filling seed. Thank you for your consideration.”

“Purchased one 5 years ago today ordering another . Squirrel s destroyed baffles but now they have nothing to hold on since the top is smooth metal Yea! I feed my blue birds dried worms in it but no problem with squirrels with baffles gone

“I first bought one in 2011 and replaced it in 2018 due to squirrel damage. I'm ordering another replacement now (2022) - same reason. I use a shim to keep the baffle from sliding down, which also tightens the seed reservoir enough that the squirrels can't pop the top off to get inside the feeder. I hang the feeder from a long, narrow clothesline suspended between a tree and the house. They can hang from the feeder, tilting it so that seed spills on the ground. They gnawed a hole through the side of the current feeder, which accommodates the larger birds that couldn't readily access the seed from one of the 4 perches. The squirrels enlarged the hole recently and are able to get inside the feeder through the hole. The damage goes so far down the side of the feeder that it only holds a cup or so of seed now. Hence the replacement. Hanging the feeder farther from the tree and closer to the house helps somewhat. They also gnawed the baffle. Their presence on the feeder deters the birds., , I have inexpertly identified 17 bird species in my quarter acre yard adjoining a wooded area.”
“We've owned two of these feeders for almost 10 years. That entire time they've been outdoors year round. They are well-constructed and durable. We hang them on a pole with a squirrel baffle so we do not have problems with squirrels on the feeders. The only slight negative is after a couple years the plastic baffle shield starts to split and need to be replaced. However this company sells replacement parts and it's pretty simple to repair/replace these items. In the ten years we've owned them, we've replaced each plastic baffle twice. , , Overall - this is a great product and if you take care of it and keep the squirrels off it, you should enjoy many years of use.”
“Great quality and customer service for replacement parts. Please improve baffle and/or tube design whereas squirrels can't easily slide it down to the bird perches and rip out the perch plates from the reservoir tube.”
