“What a great bird feeder !!! Love the design and easy of use!! This Birds Choice Hanging Bird Feeder with Baffle Weather Gaurd does require a bit of assembly to install the baffle. All that's needed is a screwdriver to assemble the baffle, instructions are included for the assembly. The most difficulty I had was placing the nut on the screw on the inside of the baffle, on the opposite side, as is was difficult holding the baffle in place to align the holes by myself. If you have someone available to align the holes it would be much easier, but if not it can be accomplished. The baffle/weatherguard is made from 100% polycarbonate and protects seed from the elements, it can also be slid up or down depending on the size of bird you want to accommodate at the feeder. This design also keeps the squirrels and mice out !! To fill the feeder just remove the green top cap and poor in the seed.
The Birds Choice Hanging bird feeder measures 6" W x 12.5"H, w/baffle 14.5"W x w/hanger 17"H. it's poly carbonate tube with a metering ring insert distributing seed to the ports, holding approximately 4 lbs. of seed and has 4 aluminum seed ports and perches.

“I received this Birds Choice hanging bird feed with baffle weather guard 12” in the mail and it works good. I hung it out by our pole in front yard and set the baffle about a foot above the feeder holes and the birds love it. It is just high enough to keep the big birds out like black birds and such. It has 4 little perches around it so a few can eat at a time. We also recieved a bag of wild bird feed and the birds love it. It is pretty well made with heavy duty plastic and a metal lid and hanger. It is kinda peaceful to sit and watch on a slow day. TY”
“It's a good feeder. Reason only four stars is that I wish the feeder holes were a little bigger. I put fruit and nut seed blend in it and sometimes it clogs up. Not a big deal. I use a stick to free it back up. Other than that I'm happy with it.”
