“I had my telescoping pole installed last week and it seems to be exactly what we wanted. So far it looks great. Here's hopeing we attract some Purple Martins!”
“Goes up easy and works fine. The design makes it difficult for one person to raise or lower the house enough to maintain it while standing on the ground. You have to have help, climb a ladder or take the sections apart.”
“It’s very sturdy it’s a little complicated to get put together. The directions could be a little more clear but I got it up and it works fine thank you.”
“I bought the pole as an addition to replacing my Martin House. I got so many marketing emails suggesting I add the pole, I thought, maybe I should do so. When my handyman came to do the work, he said that I had a much better pole than the one I purchased from Bird’s Choice, and it was in very good condition. His advice, of course, was to return the pole. I emailed immediately to start the process. I got an email back quickly saying the return was going to be processed. I called to arrange for them to pick up and return. I had to leave a message, so I waited. The next week, I called again. This time I talked with the same woman who had sent the email and the one I left a message to call me. I had taken the huge and heavy box to UPS, only to find out it was going to cost me more than half the amount I had paid for the pole. I was told they do not pay for returns, and further more, if the box was damaged in any way, I would receive nothing on my return.
Given my experience, I would strongly advise to shop elsewhere. Thank goodness the Martin House was ok, although its packaging was torn in several places. If I would have found it, say, caved in on a few sides, like the packaging, I don’t think I would have been afforded any more courtesy than I was when trying to return the pole.
