This is my second house. Just put up ready for next year. Purchased the first one 2 years ago. Only had one nest. This year 6 of 8 boxes were used with 5 eggs each. Was easily able to lower and open to check the safety and progress of each nest.

With 2 people, This four-story went together in about 4 hours. Won't be using it until next season.

There's so many screws; it took a long time to put together. The house looks good after it's built. I will have to see if any martins move in this spring, though.

I believe this to be the best purple Martin house on the market. The starling resistant doorways have successfully thwarted any starlings from nesting in our houses over the past 5+ years. The two room suite design prevents raids by owls and hawks.

This seems like it’s going to be a great house but I have not put it up yet. It was pretty easy and straight forward to assemble. I will put it up this week as we haven’t seen our sub adult martins arrive yet. I did order “wing entrapment guards” for the crescent holes from the PMCA. Apparently the martins can squabble over nesting cavities and somehow get their wing lodged in the hole. The guards are basicallly plastic arches that fit on the inside of the compartment encircling the hole that attach with two screws.
