“I have used the Birds Choice platform feeder for 5 years now, and every year, I need to replace the screens because of rust and the black coating pealing off. In the past, the screens were less than half what they cost now. They seem better quality than the old ones, but only time will tell. I can replace the whole thing for about $80 and the replacement screens cost over $50 when you take into account shipping and tax. I really don't want to buy the whole thing again - the whole ideas was to get a recycled feeder that lasts.”
