“The material this is made off is great, however I have to letter the lid up so the food can be assessed by the squirrels. They can’t open the lid and the space between the plexiglass front and the food is too small. Rather than cut down the plexiglass I just quite tired the lid up.”
“This product is gorgeous and from a distance looks so much like natural wood, but better. It does not fade/weather and cleans up easily. I thought it would attract squirrels to my backyard, but unfortunately it did not happen. There has been so much new construction in our area it has frightened off the wildlife that used to share nature with us. However, the birds have remained, so I was able to repurpose the squirrel feeder into a bird house. I hung it in my front yard tree without the acrylic barrier and hot-glued a small dish inside to put bird seed. Since birds have built two nests in this tree already, I am hoping that they have another nearby food source now to supplement their nutrition while they sit on their eggs.”
“The Spruce Creek Squirrel Much Box Feeder is a great addition to my back yard. I was hoping that it would deter the squirrels from eating out of my bird feeders and so far, so good. The big window is helpful to know when to refill since I've placed it out in my yard away from my bird feeders. It is very durably made and I know will last season after season.”
“The Squirrel Munch box was very well built and attracted squirrels easily. My only complaint was that I had to open a larger space in the glass so the food was available to the squirrels. The feeder was very well designed otherwise. I will be purchasing more feeders to feed the squirrels in my yard, thus keeping them out of my garden.”

One of the best parts about this product is that it's made with recycled plastic and milk jugs so no worry about weathering.
The weather here has been so frequently bad that I haven't seen a lot of squirrels, but I went ahead and set this up anyways. I have seen a few squirrels use it so far and it is cute watching them and it seems like it is so easy for them to use.
I truly can't wait until the weather gets warmer so I can sit on my porch and watch more squirrels use this feeder.
