Suet Feeder Upside Down for Two Cakes in Taupe and Green Recycled Plastic Reviews

4.8 Rating 6 Reviews
Very pleased with the upside down suet feeder that has solved the problem of crows, black birds, starlings eating the suet. It took two or three days for all the woodpeckers to figure out how to get to the suet. Many home runs were hit with this new feeder!

This feeder is a Big Hit and a small Miss, all in one. The lift up roof is the best feature of this feeder. I have observed, Birds typically land on the roof before moving overboard to feed. Rarely do I see one come from directly below. Changes I will make to help the birds use my feeder include; Adding texture into all parts surfaces and reducing the heighth of the sides so birds can hold on while moving underneath. Also reducing the roof overhang length for easier access. Audubon incorporates some of these in their recycled feeders but I couldn't find a Large version like this one I purchased.

It took a little coaxing but they are loving it now. No more feeding pesky invasive House Sparrows or Starlings. Hurray!

Love it and the birds love it! Also love the fact that it's recycled plastic.

Excellent suet feeder that has discouraged blackbirds, starlings and crows, but has kept the woodpeckers happy. Love this feeder!
