“I prefer natural elements for our birds. As a result I am sanding down the old feeder and protecting it from the weather. I wish you would have the natural wood ones again for sail.”
“This bird feeder is great. It holds lots of seed. It’s easy for the birds to get to. They hang on to the grooves to eat. It’s very sturdy and the green top makes it look nice. It’s easy to refill by lifting the top. It has a handle to hang it outside.”
“We hung this in our backyard and hoped we would get woodpeckers immediately. It took about 3-4 weeks, but we finally saw one. A lot of other birds come and check it out, which is great...but, only one woodpecker we have seen so far. The material is very earth friendly and ease to use, we like it.”
“I got this about a month ago and it is working way better than expected. I thought that it would attract a small amount of birds, but boy was I wrong. It's like a bird fiesta out there every morning.
I was a little skeptical when I first set it up because it was made of recycled materials and had a strange texture, but after I loaded it up with seed and hung it, it seemed to work alright. It took a few days and a little bit of seed spread on the ground to get the birds to learn that theres food in there, but after that its worked out very well. I would definitely suggest this if you want to see some bird feeding action.”
“I received a Woodpecker Feeder in Taupe and Green for my review. I can’t wait to get it hung and see woodpeckers on the sides of the feeder eating away. It is suggested I fill it with with shelled peanuts or woodpecker mix. I love that is made in the USA using durable recycled poly material that is not supposed to ever fade or crack. This woodpecker feeder is made of durable material which should last a very long time.”
“Well constructed. I like the metal piece at the bottom that pushes the food toward the hole. I like the material it is constructed from. It is easier to clean than the wooden ones. I use a mix if tree nuts that includes walnut halves and the birds could not get the nuts through the small holes, so we drilled them bigger. It would probably work fine for peanuts as it comes, birds love it.”
“We love birds and I haven’t ever seen a feeder just for woodpeckers so we needed to have it! We live in ohio and already have a few woodpeckers but they seem to have trouble on traditional feeders. This came already set up in box with no tools needed. Nice quality plastic material that I think will last forever. Easy to hang.”
