“I got this bird feeder for the woodpeckers that are often in my yard. It says to fill with peanuts so I bought the mix. I haven't seen the woodpeckers but other birds have been trying. Unfortunately they aren't able to get the food out. Also I don't feel like the food properly comes down to the whole and it makes a mess when you pour it in. I'm new to trying something like this so maybe it's user error. It would be nice if it came with a starter pack of food so you know the best kind for this particular feeder.”
“When I opened the product I immediately liked the simplicity of the colors and material. The quality seems good - very sturdy. However, I couldn’t figure out how to set up the inner portion. I had to look it up online as the package did not come with any instructions. I ended up extending the metal black mesh so it fit better and helped keep the food in place. Now it’s hanging and awaiting the birds!”

Well constructed. I like the metal piece at the bottom that pushes the food toward the hole. I like the material it is constructed from. It is easier to clean than the wooden ones. I use a mix if tree nuts that includes walnut halves and the birds could not get the nuts through the small holes, so we drilled them bigger. It would probably work fine for peanuts as it comes, birds love it”
“I received this product as a free trial. It was very easy to put together, although I had to Google the assembly instructions because it didn't come with any. We have had it up for a week, and so far, it hasn't attracted any woodpeckers. I almost expected squirrels to be attracted to it, but we haven't seen any yet.”

It did take some time for the woodpeckers to discover it initially but are coming to feed on a daily basis.
