Hanging Small Fly-Thru Bird Feeder in Dark Blue Reviews

4.8 Rating 90 Reviews
Like other Birds Choice feeders that I own, this one is pretty, functional and of solid construction. It was occupied immediately. I have one bit of advice. I hang my feeders from hooks on a tall pole. I would like to lift the feeders off and on with a pole and hook rather than getting out a large ladder. The loops at the top of the hanging wires are just a little bit small to make this work.

I do have a large fly through feeder but I really love this small fly through feeder. It will stand up to all types of weather and the materials it is made of will last a long time. I have had golden finches visit it.I know I'm going to enjoy using it with it ease of easy cleaning. Thank you for a wonderful feeder!

Our backyard friends love it too! This feeder is an absolutely beautiful blue color. It is very well made and seems very durable. We have had some cloudy days here and the rainy season will begin soon. I believe this feeder will hold up very well in the rain. The feeder is easy to fill and very easy to clean. As soon as I put it out and filled it with seed our black-capped chickadees jumped right in. They really enjoy the feeder. We see a variety of birds daily here and have even seen a forest pigeon in the feeder!

This feeder is excellent and the first fly-thru I’ve had! It is so easy for the birds to just fly in, eat what they want, and fly on their way. It looks so striking against the red brick of the front of my house.

My house finches loved this feeder the day I hung it! The recycled materials are stunning and make this easy to clean and a joy to see. I’d love to try a large size to accommodate the jays and doves! Thanks Birds Choice!

I received this feeder to test. I’ve used it for about two weeks now. I don’t usually buy this style of feeder because I don’t really want to make it available to the doves and other non-desirable birds. I was surprised that I have not noticed any dove, starling, crows, etc eating from the feeder. It must be sized just right that only the smaller songbirds want to eat from it. The quality is wonderful as you would expect from Bird’s Choice. The roof is one piece so at least it won’t let rain drop in from the top. But it does slide off for easy filling. The open design is nice because you can see the birds from both sides and not having a pile of food blocking the view of the side not facing the house. The only downside I see is the volume of seed it can hold. Since it’s a platform style, it doesn’t hold as much seed as a tube or house feeder would. But hey, take the good with the bad!

Beautiful quality design right out of the box ready to hang👌Very impressed with the strong durability material to ensure the weather conditions. Super happy with the easy open rooftop to fill & clean the bird 🐦 seed out. My bird activity has been low due to the hot weather and migration hasn't started yet. I'm looking forward to the next few weeks once they find the new feeder

My birds seem to really like the fly through bird feeder. The finches and doves seem to use it the most. They like to sit in there and feast without being chased away by the bigger birds and pigeons. What I like most is I can put mullet in there for the small birds and it doesn't go through the screens like my big feeder. This gives me the opportunity to locate it in different spots without it ruining the grass. It is very easy to clean and a+ for my yard
