“1. The feeder is well built. Maybe a couple color options would be nice. Like yellow or Dark green. 2. It functions well, fun to see the birds in full view. I tried some finch food to keep the sparrows at bay. The tray needs a tiny bit smaller holes so it doesn‚Äôt fall through, but it did bring the finches in. They don‚Äôt clean it out as quick as I thought they would! Easy to clean, like that the top lifts up to easily put seed in. 3. It did not take long for the birds to find and start using! To attract the fiches just needs to be able to hold tiny seeds, it‚Äôs so close. 4. I think it will last a long time! Only had some rain and the seed stayed mostly dry, no standing water. 5. No black birds attempted using it!! Very fun to completely see them!”
“Excellent product! Solidly built, well designed with easy to use tangle free roof attachment. Using recycled materials is a big plus. We get a lot of rain and the roof dimensions/ overhang kept the good dry. Wire hanging with loop is very helpful.”
“1. Design: It is a great size (not too big/not too small). The cover keeps the rain off so the seeds done get mushy/moldy. Having the top slid up is great to cleaning. 2. Functionality: The Blue Fly-Thru Bird Feeder performed great for bird access, seed retention, and ease of cleaning. I was even able to put live meal worms in without them getting out. 3. Bird Attraction: My birds adapted to the new feeder very quickly. I use a mix of live mealworms, sunflower hearts and raw peanuts. I think the most frequent visitors are my chipping sparrows and my orioles. 4. Durability: Well made. I like that: (a) it is made of recycled material (more durable than wood), (b) the top/cover slides up for easy cleaning and (c) it has a mesh screen in bottom. 5. Overall Experience: It is too soon for me to tell but it might be convenient if there was a way to remove the mesh screen for easy/thorough cleaning.”
“I love these fly thru feeders and so do my birds. I have a few of these in different colors and they are the most visited feeders especially if it‚Äôs raining. The roof keeps the seed dry in the rain as long as it‚Äôs not blowing too bad. Even my oldest one of these has not faded. I‚Äôve swapped out almost all my feeders with this brand because the quality can‚Äôt be beat. They only issue I‚Äôve had with them is the cable hangers do rust in time but I‚Äôve just replaced them with thicker cable from the hardware store.”
