“I have one of these feeders from 10-15 years ago that has been through much abuse over time. The birds (all birds) love it! It is my winter time go to feeder because it holds a lot of sunflower seeds. I was happy the label was on the feeder and I could run down a new one.”
“We previously had a similar mesh birdfeeder which deteriorated over the years. It attracted a multitude of interesting birds, finches flickers cardinals even an occasional woodpecker. This new feeder with the same sunflower seeds is overwhelmed by sparrows on that basis. I’m very disappointed. The feeder itself is a solid substantial feeder.”
“I'm disappointed in this feeder. I had one that looked almost like this for 40 years, it was a heavier metal and called a Magnum. The "mesh" was more like hardware cloth. This one has a different type of mesh sides - black oil sunflower seeds fall right through the holes of this one, and squirrels suck the seed right through the mesh :(”
