“The idea and design is sound. However both units suffered from the outer cover not engaging on one side as the manufacturer hadn't checked it. After making the two holes the right size, I had to heat the cover up to take the bow out of it. The flap was too light to stop banging in the wind, so added a weight so more pressure would keep it closed. Added a small piece of draught excluder to make it quiet.
As I said the overall design is good but would improve from more attention to detail and I'm sure customers will be happy to pay more for a quieter life.”
