“I was quite pleased with the speed of the delivery and the appearance of the new 1-inch blind. I attached the wand as instructed and installed the blind into the mount, but the blind would not open or close. I twisted the wand with extra strength, and it still would not work. So, I climbed the stepstool again and removed the blind from the mounting. I noticed that the shaft had been installed improperly. At 80 years of age, it took a lot of strength and cognitive power to figure out how to install the shaft on the flat section of the wand mechanism. My concern now is that in originally turning the wand mechanism, I might have caused metal fatigue. I am hoping that you might please mail a replacement of the tiny plastic wand mechanism to install around the shaft in the upper rail. Thank you.
