“The first set of rolling black out shades were made almost perfect. We had asked for a longer chain as we split a very large front window into 2 shades, and they said it was noted on the order. But it still came as the standard length. Easy fix with some chain and a coupler from Ace Hardware. I am in the process of my second order, but I royally messed up the heighth measurement. They were very prompt and polite, the replacement should arrive soon. So far I have had no orders made to the wrong dimensions.”

“I was sent the incorrect blinds first time around. With the remake set, the smaller window fit fine, but the larger window did not fit inside the window frame. In all fairness, the window frame has imperfect dimensions...I should have measured better higher into the window frame. I ended up mounting outside of window.”

“We ordered three of these. All of my window openings are identical - as they should be - the windows are machine made. One of the units did not have enough material. It had exactly the length of material we specified, but they didn't account for the roll on the tube. So, when we tried to close, there wasn't enough material to release the clutch. We checked the length of the shades on the other two, and sure enough, one had an extra 3.5 inches, and the other 6 inches. We advised the company, and they sent a new one. The new one arrived and we tried to install it. This time, the width of the shade was too long. I tried installing it by bending the mounting brackets, no-go. I contacted the company, and advised them of the problem. We were asked to send photos, with tape measure showing the two units side-by-side. We did that, and they authorized another replacement. This time, it arrived. I was able to successfully install it, but his time, I had to bend the mounting brackets to get it in, then bent them back again once installed. It works - and we hope they last. The rating and the story speaks to a quality control issue. The service I received from Kim was excellent - she was out point of contact throughout the process, and always very professional. Can't complain about that.”

“As for the product itself, the quality is what to expect for the price range. We are currently waiting on another order which means we were happy with the first set. In the first order we had two identical blinds. The window was exactly 71.25" wide so I odered them 71" to be safe. When I received them, one of the two shades was too long. Even if I forced them the spring tab on the end of the blind would've been presses into the paint on the window frame. I was able to completely unroll the blind, detach just a small corner of the fabric and cut off .25" from the center tube with a hacksaw. It fits now. The other blind fit just barely. If I would've ordered the actual 71.25" size of the window it wouldn't fit. The tube on that one has a .25" deflection in the center from being perfectly straight, so when you roll it up and down it bounces in the center and it looks a bit saggy on the window. But for less than $100 a blind they are satisfactory.”

“Works great to block out the evening sun and avoid a hot room. Easy to install. I had a bit of an issue with the raise and lower mechanism but was able to adjust it to correct the problem. Would buy again.”

“We were excited to get this in and installed. We shopped around and the price seemed very good. Installation was easy, and the shade fit perfectly. The product was a little lower quality than I expected based upon the pictures, but not enough for me to complain. Then while I was traveling for work, my wife called and told me that that shade had quit working. Upon further inspection, the "metal" piece that causes the roller to catch had already worn through. The price was good, but I don't consider it a value if it stops working. We are going to call Customer Service and return.”
