“I purchased an exterior solar shade to reduce the heat coming in a picture window in the afternoon. It was very easy to install and the savings in my cooling bill should more than pay for the blind. The house stays much cooler now without the air conditioning on.”

“I ordered reverse roll, but it came as front roll. I'm not impressed with plastic bead chains. Feels flimsy. Not sure how long it will hold up to raising & lowering shades. The shade does block out a lot of west sun, so I'm pleased with that aspect.”

“My wife and i recently purchased seven of these shades for our outdoor room. They were a great investment for our area. I wish i would have ordered the valances with the shades but they look and work great as is. the only negative i have is with the connectors for the bead chain of the seven i have three that pop open, one of those falls off all the time, maybe a stronger material is called for.”

“Disappointed in delivery time. It took over twice as long as stated in order. No communication from the company about the delays. I had to call 4 times to see when they would be shipped. The blind cords have a connecting piece for both ends of the cord and it is a pain to pass thru the wall attachment stop piece. You have to manually put it through each time you raise and lower the blinds. Also if you mount the blinds outside anywhere close to a rough surface and the blind edge touches they will start to fray. Mine did in one day. I am considering returning and getting another brand.”

I'm sorry you were so disappointed. Unfortunately, the factory was running behind during the weeks following the July 4th holiday. I have called and left a voicemail for you to call. The cords should move smoothly through the clutches. The blinds usually fray because they are not raising and lowering straight. This can be caused by the shades not being level or the fabric may not be attached completely straight. This is usually an easy fix to balance the fabric. Thank you for letting us know.

“Installed the solar shades on my dock. Afternoon sun made it almost impossible to sit on the dock after 3:00 pm. Now, with the Solar Shades we can enjoy our dock until sunset. Great purchase - Great value.”
