“We love to sit on our front porch but gets 100% sun from 2p.m. on.We bought one shade to see how well it worked and have to say it's great!We ordered the charcoal,which actually looks black,but are able to see through it.the shade cuts glare way down,therefore cutting the heat down a bit.We live in western NY so will be taking it down from october til probably April but it has definetly brought a level of comfort for our short summer.Installation wasn't difficult as long as you read the instructions on the website first.Hanging shades is usually a no brainer but my husband didn't read the part about lining up the channel with the chain.Once he straightened that out-SMOOTH operation.The material seems very sturdy and the roller itself well made.The universal brackets are nice so there are several options for hanging them.They do bend a bit,I will probably order some extras as I think they may get stressed fro removing and re-hanging the shade as we have to.”

“This neutral shade did the trick - it made our patio useable in the late afternoon. It works smoothly, installed easily (with 2 minutes of help from a second person), and looks great! Love the transparency, too. My only suggestion would be to include screws/anchors for installing the cord into brick/masonry, which would come in handy for many outdoor installations I would imagine”

“Very easy to measure. And a moderately easy install for one person. Two would make it a breeze. Look fantastic, but the sides if these blinds are already shredding and unravelling. I suppose because they rub the stucco when the wind blows but have only been installed for two weeks and the metal bar at the bottom is already exposed. Also, the velcro fasteners at the bottom are all but worthless for anchoring the shades.”

“the blinds are great. The connector for the the bead cord was missing. The small bead on the cord appears to be in the wrong position not allowing the blind to be fully retracted”
