“We ordered this shade to block the glare of the setting sun in the kitchen. It's perfect! It looks good with the stainless steel appliances, it cuts the glare completely but still lets me see outside. Easy to install, too.”

“The blinds are very beautiful. The measuring is confusing. The instructions are different under the specific blind and on the checkout page so I gave it my best guess and it worked out. One said that the measure will be the exact width of the whole thing and one said it would be the width of the fabric and to allow a certain amount of space for the brackets/reel.,”

I'm sorry you were confused by our instructions. Roller shades are always ordered by using the widest width which is the top of the shade (outside bracket to outside bracket). For an outside mount roller shade we recommend adding at least 3" to the width of your actual window opening so that the fabric will completely cover your window. The fabric width for this particular shade will be made 1 1/4" less than the ordered width. You also need to take into consideration that you need 1 1/2" to 2" of flat space to mount the brackets, either above the window or on the side of the window.
