“I purchased this to help solve a heat issue in our new homes sunroom. As the name implies this room(our home office) receives the afternoon sun and heats up rather fast, I had ordered the shade in plenty of time to have it up before the 90+ degree days came. Unfortunately it arrived damaged and the time to get the replacement part meant we would be dealing with the heat without our $400 shade. When I asked for a discount to compensate us I was told they would not give us anything, bad business in my opinion. The other thing is there is no way to secure the bottom of the shade and the wind grabs it and twists it, I devised a tie down system and it works perfectly. In retrospect I would probably go with their competitor if I had to do over again.”

“We love our new shades. They were easy to install, they look great, and they work well to minimize the blinding evening sun on our screened-in porch. I really like the beaded chain mechanism for raising and lowering them. It looks nice and is very functional. I will definitely consider Blindster for future blind and shade purchases.”

“We just installed this shade on our patio. It looks great and the color (chocolate) is true to the picture here. The quality is good. The only gripe I would have is that the supplied mounting screws are slotted rather than Phillips.”
