“I needed something for over the sink, looking out to the street. These were a small fortune. The chain is hard reach because it is too short (and I have to lean across the sink and I am short) and I can only pull down six inches at a time. I found a chain extension but Blindster didn't write down the size of the chain anywhere and for this price, it should have been included. The shades themselves are way too clear. I can read the license plates of cars going down the street and people can see everything I am doing inside when it is dark and the light is on. That's the main reason I want blinds -- for privacy. I can't afford to replace them now. It cost a pretty penny to hire someone to put them up and he had trouble though I don't know what.”

“Easy online ordering, very fast production (they are made to order), shipping was fast too, and the shades fit perfectly. We needed 2 solar shades for a very large sliding glass door, and a south facing window. We measured carefully, chose the color and light filtering (we love that you can see out while the blinds keep the sun out and the room cool). They were very easy to install and they look fabulous!”

“The shade was just what I was looking for. It blocks the light well and the motor makes it easy fo my wife to raise and lower it due to its position behind a table in front of the window. The shade is well made and is just as described on the Blindster website. I would suggest that the motor end bracket could use three tabs (top. outer edge and bottom) to hold the motor, since the one tab on the outer end of the bracket allows the motor end to slide down. I pushed the tab in slightly to make the motor more secure in the bracket.”
