“My displeasure with Blindster is unrelated to value, quality or appearance. There packaging is horrific at best. That's why I gave them 1 star. Multiple shades in plastic sleeves loosely placed in an oversized carton without adequate protection was a recipe for disaster. Every end cap on the solar shade cassettes, 12 in total, was knocked off. The aluminum cassettes received minor scratching and 2 shades came loose from their brackets, no doubt from tumbling around in their oversized master carton. We also received only 5 sets of mounting brackets for 6 shades. I touched up the scratches with a felt tip. Bent back several brackets to reinstall the shade rolls and replaced the end caps as best I could. They are sending a new set of mounting brackets and some replacement end caps. Hey, but I saved 15%.”

I'm sorry you had such a bad experience with packaging. This factory normally does a great job with packaging. I will let them know right away that there was a problem.

“We have these solar blinds on the south side of the house and they are great!!!!!! You can still see outside, but the heat stays outside. Saves a lot on cooling.”

“Great quality shades to block out the eastern sun from coming in two huge windows at the top of the stairs. They work very well and look great. give a clean, modern look to the area.”
