I'm sorry you were unhappy with your delivery time. We post the production times on every product on our website. The production time for this product is 5 to 7 business days (weekend days don't count as business days). Your order was placed in the early morning on April 17, 2015. It shipped from the factory in the in California on Friday, April 24, 2015 (5 business days). Shipping time to Michigan is 3 business days and your blinds were delivered on April 29, 2015 (3 business days). We do our best to put realistic production times on every product so that we can meet or exceed your expectations on every order. There are times when we can get a courtesy rush and speed up the production time if we know when the order is placed. Also, expedited shipping is usually available for an additional fee. However, this service is very expensive and we would need to know all the details of the order before we can get a quote for the cost.

“Truth is I was intimidated at the thought of installing these blinds as I am 56 and have never done so. Blinds (2) inside and outside mount arrived on time and were pretty I was pleased. Look through the boxes and found one sheet instruction for installation. I read, re-read and read again not understanding. Reading reviews earlier when purchasing I learned there was a problem with the valance for the 'inside mount'. Good common sense got me through after having to carefully awl 3 holes in actual valence for mounting NOTHING SAYS TO DO THIS. The outside mount installation was easier, but could not figure out how valance clips went on the brackets that hold the blinds beam. By that time it was after 5 had to wait to the next day to call customer service. Called, while holding figured it out! The 'valance clips' clips onto the blind beam itself not the beam support brackets! Diagram shows valance clips on the brackets. I hope this helps people. If I say so myself I DID IT!”
