“I swim in an estuary where the water is in the low 50s in winter and mid 50s in summer… this is my favorite thermal cap ! It means the difference between a king swim with thermal cap or a short one with a plain neoprene cap. I’m into my third year and gifted myself a new cap to help me psych up for winter swims”
“I recently competed in Ironman Alaska with a water temperature of 55/56 degrees. The Blue 70 Thermal Skull cap literally saved my sanity! It provided warmth and the right amount of compression to make a very chilly swim tolerable. Even with a shortened Ironman distance swim (due to the cold water) I truly believe the Skull Cap would have gotten me thru the full distance. Great product and very happy I had it on hand!”
“It was rrally usefull because I come from Tampico, a place with a warm ocean. And it was really confirtable…..I used it for my first time at IMWC so it was important for me not to feel it as a hindrance….it didnot”
“I am a baby about the cold, but need to start open water training earlier in the year, so based on recommendations I went with Blue70 gloves, booties, and thermal swim cap. All have been fantastic (with extra props to the booties due to the bottoms being rugged enough for walking around prior to getting in the water) down to Mid 50's water temp. At no point during 1-1.5 hours in the water did I feel like I needed to get out. Would highly recommend.”
“The cap fits nice and snug. The strap was good, I didn’t notice it while swimming. This cap made all the difference in being able to continue swimming through winter. It’s warm and comfortable, I couldn’t be happier with this product. Highly recommend!”
